In the north, along the camino de Santiago, a wondrous journey from the Cathedral to the end of the known world, from Santiago de Campostela to Finisterre.

In Avila, mingle in the grounds of the saints who’s thoughts and perspectives subverted a highly controlled faith perspective and lead to new ideas in the church.

In Tarifa, enjoy the wide beach, surfers, the old city and the cosmopolitanism of Southern Spain.

In Tangier, see a city of divided loyalties, European and Western, African and Muslim.

In Rabat, the modern capital of a striving moderate nation and Casablanca the 2nd largest mosque in the world.

In Marrakesh, a thriving community at the confluence of cultures with festive colors and music.

Our guide in Morocco is Loubna El Abbadi, current instructor at the University of Pittsburgh, Doctoral candidate at Duquesne University. She was part of the staff with Mennonite Urban Corps, USAID is a Moroccan native who has lived in the United States since 1999.

On the camino, Dave Landis will guide our days. Dave is an experienced adventurer and will guide our path.

In Spain, Steve Kriss will guide our explorations through urban and spiritual centers at in the commingling of culture and perspectives.
